Your excursion in a private vehicle, assisted by a professional and experienced driver, will take you to the discovery of deep Morocco.
Passing through the Lalla Takerkoust Dam, located about 40 km from Marrakech, and enjoy the panoramic view at a height of 1400m, after you join the plateau of Kik to discover a magnificent landscape and a totally exotic setting. You will pass by traditional Berber villages where authentic houses are built in earth and stone by the inhabitants themselves. One of the Berber families will welcome you in their typical small fireplace to enjoy a glass of tea and a snack. We encourage you, therefore, to bring with you small souvenirs (toys – school supplies…) to distribute them to the small Berber children you will meet on the road.

If you coincide with a market day you will have the opportunity to visit the market. Your driver will then take you to the Ourika valley where you will explore the organic aromatic garden which contains the different medicinal plants used by the Berbers. You will then make your way to the waterfalls of the Setti Fatma valley to enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the restaurants next to the river or on the water.

Description of places to visit :

A holiday dream of a very special kind, which the agafay desert offers, which for many people is certainly the adventure of living the desert on camelback. For tourists in Marrakech it is possible to discover the fascinating desert landscapes with their enormous sand dunes, stony sections and oases as a source of life. During these desert tours it is also possible to meet the nomads living in the desert and it can happen that some sections of the desert have to be crossed on foot. The desert of adventure will never be boring, but a holiday full of unforgettable memories.
Ourika

The small village of Ourika is a farming community in the province of Al Haouz and is located about 30 kilometres south of Marrakech. About 30,000 people live here and follow a traditional way of life.
At the same time, the Ourika is also a river that originates in the High Atlas and flows into the Tensift east of Marakkesch. The Ourika flows
Around Ourika lives the Barbary ape, an endangered species.

through the Ourika valley, which bears his name, a fascinating natural spectacle with magnificent flora and numerous waterfalls. It is also the only habitat in the High Atlas region where the Barbary ape, an endangered species, can be found. The Ourika Valley is a popular destination for day trips due to its proximity to Marakkesch and the exciting nature it offers.

The Ourika valley with its flowery nature is a wonderful place for a good day trip, where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The impressive waterfalls are particularly worth a visit. Otherwise, of course, the rural village of Ourika in the Ourika valley is also very attractive and offers visitors an authentic Berber culture.
You have to pay attention to the prices. Many tour guides rip off tourists. There are reports of tourists who have paid 600 dirhams for the taxi and driver for a day.

A trip to the Ourika Valley is perfect to escape the heat and noise of Marrakech. The first 30 minutes of the trip lead through a flat and rather boring plain. But gradually, the breathtaking view of the Berber villages and the landscape around the Ourika Valley begins. With luck, a local market will take place in one of the villages on the day of the excursion, the souk is a great place to stroll.

The valley is 30 kilometres south of Marakkesch, so the trip doesn’t take too long. On the whole, an excursion can take ten to twelve hours, depending on how long you plan to enjoy the view or hike.
