On the way to Ouirgane : The trip from Marrakech to Ouirgane.
Over a distance of more than 30 km, we cross the Haouz plain, where the road continues to meander towards Admat. This isolated region was founded by the Berbers of the Haoura tribe before the introduction of Islam. 3 km further south, we reach Dar Caid Ouriki, where the most visited market in the valley is held every Monday.
From Tahanoute (Tuesday of the souk), the road leads to the gorges of Moulay Brahim in Asni. It is worth following the road to the right just for the view of the Residence Ourigane in the direction of Amizmiz.
The tiny village of Ouirgane, which gave its name to the beautiful “Vallée de l’Ourigane”, has long been hailed as a destination in French guidebooks. It is a starting point for hikes, walks and mountain bike tours.
