Several kilometres of the Moroccan coastline are still untouched. The absence of tourist projects makes these areas an eldorado for lovers of wild spaces by the sea.
Opting for a holiday by the sea provides all the benefits of waves and sunshine. But often, the density on overcrowded beaches and the general atmosphere prevent you from enjoying the pleasures of the sea. For holidaymakers in search of peace and quiet and unspoilt landscapes, Morocco’s unspoilt beaches, both on the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts, offer a safe alternative.
Here is a selection of wild beaches :
The white beach Guelmim
The white beach between Guelmim er Tantan has been very trendy in recent years and attracts many visitors. This still unspoilt beach is made up of vast stretches of fine sand, over almost 50 km, in the form of dunes that give the appearance of a straight white extension, hence its name white beach. An invitation to recharge your batteries in a serene atmosphere. The reputation of the place continues to attract curious people from Morocco and abroad. Many tourists eager for wild beaches stay there every year to enjoy the unspoilt environment.
Briyech Asilah beach
Between Tangier and Asilah on the North Atlantic coast, Briyech beach offers an ideal setting to enjoy the ocean with all the advantages of a wild beach. Still little frequented due to the very modest tourist infrastructure, holidaymakers can sunbathe in complete tranquility. In the mornings, the atmosphere is ideal for walking along the wild Atlantic coast, with only the company of birds.
The beaches of Dakhla
Miles of deserted beaches to discover. The mild weather and breathtaking landscapes invite you to go for a walk at sea to meet dolphins and sea turtles. Surfers find their happiness on the magnificent beach of Foum Elbouir. Totally virgin stretches, only six kilometres from the town, which welcome surfing enthusiasts.
Dakhla is also the tip of the dragon, a place renowned for its famous nautical base of Dakhla.
