From Marrakech, Imlil can be reached via the Asni valley. You will have the opportunity, thus, to admire a succession of panoramas from the High Atlas, small authentic villages, a splendid setting and breathtaking landscapes.
Upon arriving in Tahnaoute and Asni, you will have the opportunity to visit its Souk if you coincide with a market day (Tuesday and Saturday successively). You will then join the gorges of Moulay Brahim before passing to the small Berber village of Asni.

Food and shopping
In Imlil there are several small and medium hotels, a few cafes and restaurants and several small grocery stores. The well run Atlas Trek Shop rents and sells the most important equipment for outdoor excursions. It also sells fuel for camping stoves. It is important to note that the small village offers the last good provisions before Toubkal National Park. But there is also no pharmacy in Imlil. The nearest pharmacy is in Asni.
Guides are trained in the local mountain guide school and are organized by a local office. Mules are also available if needed. There is also a guarded car park and a French Alpine Club hut in the village.
Important: there is no bank in Imlil, so you must bring enough cash with you!
