The Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is undoubtedly one of the main tourist sites in southern Morocco. At 30 km from the city of Ouarzazate, stands the sumptuous Ksar (fortified village) home to a Berber population.

The 2nd stop will be the kasbah Ait Ben Hadou, a fortified village that offers you a complete panoramic view of the ancient earth construction techniques. It presents an imminent example of pre-Saharan architecture in Morocco. The Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou is the most famous in the Ounila valley. It is recognized by the UNESCO World Heritage and has been used, in particular, for the shooting of several famous films such as Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator … Lunch at the Kasbah.
The 3rd stop will be the city of Ouarzazate. You will explore the city with its innumerable adobe kasbahs, its arid mountains and plains, its green valleys and oases and its countless palm groves. This surprising mix of oases, Kasbahs and flourishing valleys is what makes this region so charming and gives it its tourist appeal. Also enjoy a visit to the cinema museum and one of the most beautiful Kasbahs in the region: The Taourirt Kasbah… end of the trip and return to Marrakech at 7pm.

The Ksar formed of habitats that resemble each other, stands on a small hill. It is surrounded by a mud wall ensuring its defense. Well-ornamented corner towers reinforce the protection.
